I'm a Birth & Family photographer, Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator (CBE). I was raised in Maple Ridge, and currently live in Agassiz, BC with the little family I have created. I married my best friend at the age of 21 and as of August 2022 we have FOUR beautiful children that keep us on our toes! I'm a woman of many hobbies and a love for DIY projects! Motherhood is my life and my passion, which is why I love photographing Maternity, Birth, Newborns and Families.
My journey into photography began in Dec. 2018 while living in Maple Ridge. At the time, I had two small businesses I was running solo. I've always enjoyed being an entrepreneur, but it took some trial and error finding what it was I was passionate about. I finally found that with photography. My first year of photography I learned so much (still learning!) and was very fortunate to experience and shoot different types of sessions. In 2020 I decided I wanted to start capturing Births. Due to the pandemic, I witnessed many couples feeling isolated and lacking support during this very special time in their lives. My desire to support, connect, and encourage mothers (and their partners) during their birth is what led me to pursue both my Labour & Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator certification.

In 2021 my husband and I decided to move to Agassiz for a slower-paced lifestyle. It's important to us to raise our children in a less busy, tight-knit community. In August 2022 we welcomed our fourth and final baby! With it being my last baby I opted for a planned Homebirth in Agassiz. It was an amazing experience for me and further strengthened my love for the work I do supporting others in their own birthing experience. If you're interested in knowing more about my work, checkout my blog on What is A Doula?
As a Doula I want to advise on ways to help progress labour and lessen the discomfort of labour. I know the strength it takes to birth a little human, and feeling the love and support of those around you makes it just a little bit easier. Knowing you have a cheerleader in your corner that believes you can do it, helps you to feel powerful and remind yourself that you CAN do it.
I want to be there when my clients feel the need to be held both physically and emotionally, until they themselves are holding their baby.
I'm so thankful to every client that chooses me to be with them for support and allows me to share in their precious moments, as well as document them!
